Kecskemét

Located in central Hungary, Kecskemet is the birthplace to renowned composer Zoltán Kodály and home to the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. Located halfway between the Danube and Tisza rivers, Kecskemet is also known as the “Orchard of Hungary” due to their many exquisite vineyards and gardens. In fact, the apricots grown around Kecskemét are often believed to be the most delicious in all of Europe.
