Itinerary

Depart the U.S. on your flight to Europe.

Today, you’ll meet your fellow Encore Directors and have some time to explore the area. We will meet in the lobby at 3:30 pm and then depart to our welcome reception at The Met Lounge. Enjoy dinner and drinks along with an exclusive introduction by theatre critic Matt Wolf. Afterwards, we’ll walk over to London’s West End for a dazzling performance of ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ (D)

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before gathering in the lobby and proceeding to Holy Trinity Church for a captivating performance by professional tenor Robert Murray. The afternoon is yours to explore London at your own pace before we reconvene at 4:30 PM for a traditional afternoon tea at the Marriott County Hall Hotel in a private room, where there will be plenty to enjoy ahead of a pre-concert talk by a special guest. From there, it’s a short walk to Royal Festival Hall for the evening performance by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.(B)

This morning, we will gather in the lobby for a brief walk to Royal Albert Hall, where a private tour focusing on classical music and history awaits us. Next, we’ll head to the Royal College of Music to enjoy a performance by a string quartet. In Amaryllis Hall, enjoy a guest speaker from Westminster Abbey who will introduce the afternoon’s events, where you will also have the option to visit the Royal College of Music Museum. We’ll then board the coach to Westminster Abbey for a music-themed tour with organist Mathew Jorysz, culminating in attending Evensong. Tonight, we will conclude our time at Prelude with a special farewell dinner at Mosimann’s.
