He has been Chorus Master of the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus for over 30 years, and has been Chorus Master for the London Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, Conductor Laureate of the Berlin Radio Choir, and a celebrated mentor for choirs, conductors, and professional ensembles worldwide. Known for his transformative approach to choral leadership, Simon has worked alongside some of the world’s most renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Claudio Abbado, and Daniel Barenboim. His expertise in choral-orchestral collaboration, vocal technique, and artistic direction makes him an invaluable resource for conductors and singers alike.
