A Greco-Roman Rhapsody

Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met by your Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel. After check in, have time to unpack and freshen up after your flight. Then enjoy a welcome dinner together at the hotel this evening. (D)

Sightseeing with a local guide features the spectacular Acropolis and the Parthenon, which dominates the city and stands as a powerful and impressive memorial to the remarkable civilization that built it. You will also enjoy a visit to the exciting new Acropolis Museum. Enjoy lunch and time for exploration at your own pace this afternoon. Later in the afternoon, perform your first concert at a local venue! Afterwards, walk to a nearby restaurant where you will have dinner together. (B,D).

Enjoy a full day cruise with lunch included to the islands of Hydra, Aegina and Poros in the Saronic Gulf. Return to Athens for dinner together at your hotel. (B,L,D)

Drive to mythical Delphi, home of the great oracle of Apollo. Explore the Archaeological Museum of Delphi and visit the Temple of Apollo. Continue to Patras to board an overnight ferry to Bari. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board. (B,D)

Enjoy the calm waters of the Mediterranean as you cruise toward the heel of Italy and the port of Bari. Breakfast will be served on board this morning. After disembarking, travel through the olive groves across Southern Italy to Sorrento. Here, perform at a local venue such as Sorrento Cathedral.. Check into the Hotel Central and enjoy dinner together. (B,D)

Depart from Sorrento and drive to Rome, stopping en route at the ancient archeological site of Pompeii. Continue north to the capital and check into your hotel where you will have time to unpack and relax. This evening, enjoy dinner together at a nearby restaurant. (B,D)

Start your day with a tour through the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with personal headsets. Today you will perform at a local venue such as St. Peter’s Basilica. Tonight, enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Today tour the ancient city on a panoramic tour including a visit to the Colosseum. Imagine the roar of spectators as they cheered on gladiators battling one another both on the ground and on water! Enjoy dinner tonight. Then transfer to Sant’ Agnese in Agone Church, or a similar local venue, where tonight you will rehearse and perform your final concert of the tour! (B,D)
