Departure from the United States.

Arrive in Croatia this morning and meet your Encore Tour Manager who will transfer you to the Hotel Kompass. Freshen up, relax and start exploring the beautiful, historical city of Dubrovnik. This evening, your Tour Manager will walk you to a local restaurant in the Old Town for a welcome dinner together. (D)

This morning’s guided sightseeing will introduce you to the resort area that was once described by George Bernard Shaw as “heaven on earth.” Discover the ancient city walls, the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the harbor. Enjoy some free time and later the afternoon, come together for your first overseas rehearsal at the venue. Tonight, perform your debut European concert at a local venue such as St Ignatius Church. Dinner will be independent today. (B)

Check out of the hotel this morning and travel north to the city of Split. This former Greek colony is famous for the massive Diocletian’s Palace, named after the great Roman emperor for whom it was built around 300 AD. Exhibiting a mix of the traditional and the modern, today’s exploration of the bustling city of Split with your Tour Manager will give you an opportunity to see how Dalmatian life is truly lived. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (B)

Spend the morning in Split exploring on your own or with your tour manager. There will also be an optional excursion to the nearby coastal town of Trogir, known for its Old Town and mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings. Later this afternoon, rehearse for your next concert performance which will be tonight at a local venue such as the Cathedral of Saint Domnius Dinner will be on your own pre-concert. (B)

Travel north up the Adriatic Coast today to the town of Zadar, known for its Roman and Venetian ruins. On arrival, check into the Hotel Kolovare and enjoy lunch on your own. This afternoon, explore the Old Town with your tour manager and enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (B)

This morning, travel to the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana stopping en route to visit the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the oldest and largest natural parks in Croatia. Later, on arrival in Ljubljana, check into the Hotel Lev and have dinner as a group tonight in a local restaurant. (B,D)

A local guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city this morning to see the many highlights of the Slovenian capital. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at your leisure before gathering for a late afternoon rehearsal for tonight’s concert performance that will take place at St. Jakob’s Church or a similar local venue. Dinner will be on your own tonight. (B)

This morning, depart the hotel and travel the short distance north to view the stunningly beautiful Lake Bled in its picturesque natural surroundings. Continue your journey across into Italy and to Venice! Known as the Queen of the Adriatic, Venice consists of an archipelago carved by nearly 150 canals into 118 different islands. It is simply incomparable to any other city and a must-see for any traveler once in their lifetime! On arrival, check into your hotel and start exploring with your tour manager or on your own. Dinner will be independent this evening. (B)

Meet your Tour Manager for a walking tour orientation around St Mark’s, including St. Mark’s Square and the Basilica. See the famous “Bridge of Sighs” which connects the Doge’s Palace to the old prison. During your free time this afternoon, you may wish to take a gondola ride through the city’s beautiful canals, see famous Venetian glass-making or visit the Peggy Guggenheim museum. This afternoon, come together to rehearse for your final concert this evening at a local venue such as the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. Enjoy a farewell tour dinner together this evening. (B,D)
