Day 2 Brussels Welcome to Belgium! Meet your Tour Manager at the airport and then transfer to your hotel in Brussels to settle in. Enjoy dinner together this evening. (D) Day 3 Brussels After breakfast, which is included each day of the tour, enjoy a city tour of Brussels with a local guide (on the coach). You will see the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels and part of the UNESCO word heritage list, Manneken Pis, a famous statue which is one of the city’s landmarks, Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral and the Royal Palace. This afternoon, perform the first concert of the tour at the Musical Instruments Museum or another high-quality venue. After the concert, you will have a chance to visit the museum. Enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (B) Day 4 Bruges Transfer to Antwerp today for a city tour with a local guide. See the Grote Markt, Groenplaats, Vlaeykensgang, the Latin Quarter, and the Vrijdagmarkt. In the end of the tour enjoy free time for lunch and relax on a terrace on the Conscienceplein. Then you will transfer to Bruges where you will check into your hotel and enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,D) Day 5 Bruges Today enjoy a full day excursion to beautiful Ghent! You will visit the “Kuip” of Ghent, the historic centre, walk along the highlights of the city, Castle of the Counts, the Graslei and Korenlei and Ghent’s three famous towers. Explore the modern architecture of the city pavilion and the rustic “Patershol”, an old quarter with a medieval street pattern, full of restaurants. Before dinner tonight, you will enjoy a charming view of Ghent from the water during a boat trip! Enjoy dinner on your own. (B) Day 6 Bruges After breakfast at your hotel enjoy walking City Tour of Bruges with local guide Bruges is a beautiful medieval fairy-tale town with cobblestone lanes and charming canals. You will see Grôte Markt, the Provinciaal Hof, The Saint Salvator Cathedral, the main church of the city and the impressive Church of Our Lady, the tallest structure in the city and the second-tallest brickwork tower in the world. After lunch time to discover Bruges canals, the arteries of the city with a canal cruise. Accompanied by swans floating alongside you on the water, you will discover Bruges from a surprising perspective, because some things you can only see from the water! This evening, perform a concert at a spectacular venue such as the Pickery Hall of the Belfry Tower! (B,D) Day 7 Luxembourg After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Ardennes to learn more about the importance of this region during WWII. Visit the fascinating Bastogne War Museum. Located close to the famous Mardasson Memorial, the Bastogne War Museum is the principal memorial dedicated to the Second World War in the Ardennes and Belgium. It offers a particular emphasis on the Battle of the Bulge. Continue on to Luxemburg to check into your hotel. Enjoy an early dinner together. Tonight you will perform the final concert of the tour at a historic venue such as the Koerich Castle. (B,D) Day 8 Luxembourg Enjoy a city tour of Luxembourg with a local guide. Discover medieval, classical and contemporary architectural styles mingling in Luxembourg City. It has a landscape interspersed with green valleys, rivers and streams, and numerous picturesque bridges. You will also visit the American Cemetery today. Enjoy some free time this afternoon and evening to explore on your own. (B) Day 9 Luxembourg In the beautiful countryside of Beaufort, you can visit not one but two castles. Not far from the chateau’s idyllic little lake, an impressive medieval castle towers over the scene. It was built between 1050 and 1650. Following major repairs, the imposing ruins opened to the public as long ago as 1932 and today they are regarded as a historic monument. Just around the corner, you’ll find the Renaissance castle, which dates from the 17th century. The fascinating interiors bring the magic of the past to life. The castle can only be visited on a guided tour, which ends with an opportunity to taste the chateau’s famous Casséro liqueur. Enjoy a farewell group dinner this evening.
