Board your cruise along the historic Rhine River, one of Germany’s most important navigable waterways. When the cruise ends in Bonn, continue to Cologne where you’ll check into your hotel for your overnight.


Discover the gothic masterpiece of Cologne as your Encore Tour Manager takes you to see the famous cathedral whose filigree twin spires dominate the skyline. Then learn about the “elixir of the gods” during your visit to the Chocolate Museum and learn through engaging exhibits the 5000 year history of this delightful treat. Later today, transfer to a local venue for your debut performance of the tour!


Journey to Heidelberg this morning, a town famed for its historic university town of Heidelberg. Surrounded by forest, Germany’s oldest and most famous university town is renowned for its baroque Altstadt, beautiful riverside setting and evocative half-ruined hilltop castle, which inspired the works of the many 18th and 19th century Romantics, such as the poet Goethe and Britain’s artist, William Turner.


Our local expert takes you on a sightseeing tour which includes entrance to the magnificent Heidelberg Castle, a notable example of Renaissance architecture that towers hundreds of feet above the Neckar River. Later in the afternoon, transfer to a local venue for your next performance!


This morning, transfer to Stuttgart, a friendly cosmopolitan city known for its high-tech industries. Travel into the city center and begin exploring. For a grand city overview, board the beloved Zacke, a unique rack railway, and ascend to Dergerloch. Take in the panoramic views before returning to Schlossplatz, the heart of the city, where you can use visit the architecturally stunning glass cube that houses the Museum of Art.


Enjoy a scenic drive through the world-famous Black Forest this morning to Freiburg. Upon arrival, take a walking tour of this picturesque city, during which you’ll stroll past attractions such as the Münster Cathedral, a stunning masterwork of Gothic architecture. This afternoon, rehearse and perform your final concert of the tour!


This morning is yours to explore Germany’ sunniest and warmest city at your own pace, perhaps practicing your German as you order a tasty, cheese-filled maultaschen along the way. Later today, depart for Munich where you will spend your final evening abroad in the country’s capital city!
