Your local guide will show you the Palacio de Gobierno, where vibrant murals portray Mexican history from Mayan times to present. Take a stroll down Paseo de Montejo, lined with beautiful mansions and vibrant street vendors. This afternoon, rehearse for tonight’s debut concert performance which will take place at a local venue, such as the Parroquia de Santa Ana or the Centro Cultural Olimpo. (B,D)

Explore the incredible ruins of Chichén Itzá. Learn about the Mayan’s advanced calendar system, their extensive knowledge of astronomy and their deadly ball game. Then visit a nearby cenote for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters. These naturally formed underground sinkholes were sacred to the ancient Maya.  Continue to Valladolid where you’ll check into your next hotel and have dinner together. (B,D)

This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of Valladolid as you learn the history of this colonial town, discovering its winding streets and local markets. This afternoon, rehearse and perform your next concert at a local venue, such as El Convento de San Bernadino. (B,D)

This morning, depart for the Caribbean Coast. Visit the eco-archaeological theme park of Xcaret. Spend the day tubing down subterranean rivers and snorkeling in the inlets, where pink flamingos and toucans abound. Check into your next hotel. Then afternoon, rehearse for today’s final concert of the tour as part of an exchange performance with a local ensemble. (B,D)

A morning excursion takes you to the spectacular cliff-side ruins of Tulum, where a stunning view of the Caribbean may explain why the Mayan people chose this as home. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax along the beach before coming together for a special, farewell dinner to celebrate your successful performance tour of Mexico! (B,D)
