Itinerary

Depart from the United States and arrive in Halifax, where you’ll meet your Encore Tour Manager. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a welcome dinner together to kick off the tour. (D)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided tour of the Halifax Citadel Historic Site, founded in 1749 as a principal naval station of the British Empire. You’ll also visit the cemetery where many Titanic passengers were buried. After some free time for lunch downtown, spend the afternoon exploring the Halifax Public Gardens. Dinner will be on your own, with your tour manager available to assist with recommendations and reservations. (B)

After breakfast, board your deluxe motorcoach for a full-day excursion to the Grand Pré Historical Site. Begin with a 22-minute film presentation about the Deportation of the Acadians, followed by a guided tour. Explore the serene duck ponds, the statue of Evangeline, and the Memorial Church, ending with a visit to the Landscape of Grand Pré View Park. You’ll have a performance at the Memorial Church and free time on Main Street (Evangeline Trail) for lunch. Return to Halifax for dinner on your own. (B)

Check out of your hotel and depart for Baddeck, Cape Breton Island. After some free time for lunch, visit the Fortress of Louisbourg and experience an immersive historical tour. Continue to Baddeck, where you’ll enjoy views of the Bras d’Or. Dinner will be on your own tonight. (B)

Start your day with breakfast before heading to a local school for a concert performance. After lunch on your own, perform at a local venue such as the Bethel Presbyterian Church. Dinner will be on your own this evening. (B)

After breakfast, depart for Edmonton with a stop in Moncton for lunch and a visit to the physics-defying Magnetic Hill. Continue on to Edmonton, check into your hotel, and have dinner on your own. (B)

Depart Edmonton after breakfast and head to Quebec City, the capital of the province of Quebec. Upon arrival, enjoy free time for lunch and personal explorations. Check into your hotel and have the rest of the evening free. (B)

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Old Quebec, including the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, Parliament Hill, La Place d’Armes, and the Latin Quarter. Enjoy free time for lunch in Old Quebec. In the afternoon, tour the Beaupré Coast, visiting the Albert Gilles Copper Museum, the Christorama Museum, the Basilique Sainte-Anne de Beaupré, and Montmorency Falls. Dinner will be on your own tonight. (B)

Today is yours to explore Quebec City at your own pace. Take in the European charm of this North American city. Dinner will be on your own this evening. (B)

After breakfast, perform a concert at a local venue such as the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, followed by an opportunity to meet locals. After free time for lunch, transfer to Montreal, the largest French-speaking city in the world after Paris. Check into your hotel and have dinner on your own. (B)

Board your bus for a guided sightseeing tour of Greater Montreal, including the Golden Square Mile, the site of the 1967 World Fair, Le Quartier des Spectacles, and various ethnic areas. Visit L’Oratoire St. Joseph, where you may have the chance to perform. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure and an independent dinner tonight. (B)

This morning, visit La Basilique Notre Dame, where you may perform, followed by a guided tour of the church. Explore Underground Montreal, one of the largest underground complexes in the world. Return to your hotel to freshen up before a farewell dinner in a private room at Bistro Essence with live Montreal Jazz. (B, D)

Check out of your hotel and enjoy some free time for last-minute exploring in Montreal before transferring to the airport for your return flight to the United States. (B)
